The debtor’s claims to a life insurance can be attached by means of an attachment and transfer order. The debtor is obliged to hand over the insurance policy. If it is not handed over voluntarily the creditor can enforce the handover by means of an enforcement order (§ 836 Sub. 3 ZPO = Enforced attachment procedure).
